This notice explains which personal data House of Ragnarok processes through the website house-of-ragnarok.fwrd.digital, why, and what rights you have. We have kept it concrete: what follows describes only what this site actually does.
Who is responsible

What we process
- Technical data on every visit. Our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type and the address you requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This is necessary for the site to function and happens whether or not you accept cookies.
- Whatever you enter in a form. Typically your name, email address and message. We use it only to answer you.
- Usage statistics without cookies. We measure which pages are viewed, what is clicked and how far the page is scrolled. No cookie is involved. For as long as your tab stays open the site does keep one random number in it, so that separate clicks on the same page belong together; that number disappears when you close the tab, cannot be read by any other site, and does not recognise you on a later visit. To count whether someone is new or returning we compute a code from your IP address, your browser type and a secret that changes every day; that secret is then destroyed, after which nobody can tie the code back to you. Your IP address is not stored.
- For forms: the NAME of the field you start typing in ("phone", for example). Never what you type — that is only processed if you actually submit the form.
- If your browser hits a technical error: the error message itself, shortened and scrubbed (addresses after a question mark, email-like patterns and long runs of digits are removed before storage). It is the only free text we store, and it comes from the software rather than from you.
- Usage statistics — only with your consent. If you accept analytics cookies we measure which pages are visited and how visitors find the site. If you decline, no analytics request is made at all.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Operating and securing the site — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): without this processing the site cannot be delivered or protected.
- Answering your message — performance of a contract or legitimate interests, depending on what you ask.
- Statistics without cookies — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): we want to know whether the site does what it is supposed to. The measurement sets no cookie, keeps only a number that disappears with your tab, and creates no identifier that follows you across websites. You can object at any time via the address above.
- Statistics — consent only (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw that consent at any time.
Who else processes your data
We use service providers who process on our behalf. A data processing agreement is in place with each of them.
- Cloudflare — hosting, delivery and security of the website.
- Resend — delivery of the notification email sent to us when a form is submitted.
- FWRD — builder and technical operator of this site; stores form submissions so they are not lost if email delivery fails.
- Google — processes the statistics, and only after you have given consent.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising or profiling.
How long we keep data
- Security and server logs: short, typically a few weeks.
- Form submissions: as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for our records.
- Statistics without cookies: 90 days. A daily purge removes anything older, together with the daily secret used to count visitors — after that the measurement can no longer be tied to a person.
- Statistics: 14 months at most, then deleted automatically.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict and object to processing, and to data portability. Where you gave consent you can withdraw it at any time — withdrawing is as easy as giving. Write to [email protected] and you will have a reply within one month.
If we cannot resolve it together, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
