This page explains which cookies house-of-ragnarok.fwrd.digital uses and what say you have in it. Cookies are small files a website stores on your device; some are needed for the site to work, others are not.
Strictly necessary — no consent required
These are always set, because without them the site cannot function or defend itself. They do not follow you across other websites.
- Cloudflare security cookies (including __cf_bm) — tell real visitors apart from automated traffic. Retention: around 30 minutes.
- Your cookie choice (fwrd-consent) — remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies so we do not ask again on every visit. It lives in your browser's local storage, is never sent to a server, and stays until you clear it.
- Turnstile (Cloudflare) — checks that you are not a spam bot when you submit a form. Only active on pages that have a form.
Visitor statistics without cookies
This site measures how it is used without setting a cookie. For as long as your tab stays open the site keeps one random number in it, so that separate clicks on the same page belong together; that number disappears when you close the tab, cannot be read by any other site, and does not recognise you on a later visit. That is why the measurement does not appear in the table above: there is no cookie to name.
We measure which pages are viewed, what is clicked, how far the page is scrolled, and whether someone calls, messages or submits a form. To tell new visitors from returning ones a code is computed from your IP address, your browser type and a secret that changes every day. That secret is destroyed after 90 days; after that nobody can tie the code back to an IP address. Your IP address itself is not stored, and the code differs per website — so it does not follow you to other sites.
What is deliberately not included: the content of form fields. Only the name of a field you start typing in is recorded, never what is in it.
Analytics cookies — only with your consent
These let us measure which pages are visited so we can improve the site. They are not set until you click "Accept". If you click "Decline", or do nothing at all, no request is made to Google and no analytics cookie is set.
- _ga — distinguishes visitors from one another. Retention: 2 years.
- _ga_* — keeps session state. Retention: 2 years.
What we deliberately do not do
- No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
- No profiling, and no selling of data.
- No Google Fonts: typefaces are served from our own server, so your browser makes no request to Google.
Changing your choice
Your choice is not final. At the bottom of every page there is a Cookie settings link that brings the notice back so you can choose again. Withdrawing is as easy as giving. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings at any time.
